The Election is Over- but the work has just begun to save the environment.

The value of grass roots movements cannot be overstated, http://www.getup.org.au/ and

www.walkagainstwarming.org & Nature Conservation Council of NSW have contributed to positive change occurring in Australia, but it takes the continued efforts of all of us to remind whichever party which has been elected to honour their promises and commitments to all Australians. In particular the environment cannot be pushed aside for political expediency. We are the people who keep parties in power, and change was and is needed, but just because the election has past, we cannot afford to let our energies drop, forward moves for the environment are needed now.

I would suggest that everyone look at these sites for GetUp, and Nature Conservation Council of Australia, Walk Against Warming, and support their work. Keeping politicians in touch with grass roots opinions, and making sure they continue to work towards positive change for the environment is essential, for there is no time to waste.

What do you personally feel needs to be brought to the attention of Politicians? We will send your suggestions on to politicians.

Let us begin this movement now, we will call it, ''One World, One Vision''- people united with one voice. We stand as guardians of this planet we call home.

Other than sign the Kyoto agreement which now the Australian Government must do, what can you see needs to be brought to the attention of Governments across the globe? Your opinion counts!
